This is everything you’ll need to make your own 5 Tendons Climbing Holds.

Tools
- Belt sander, hand or bench. Bench is best.
- Hand Drill/Press
- 10mm & 6mm drill bit
- 3D Printer – note: if you don’t have one, please see our Suppliers page for a 3D printing service near you to get your holds printed. Or if you are in the market for a printer, checkout BambuLabs.com
Materials
- 3/8 Stainless Steel Washers
- Polyester Resin, we find that Tooling Resin works best.
- PETG 3D Printer Filament (only use PETG) in various primary colours to match the acrylic paint you buy. Or just buy white filament to finish in any colour you want.
- Dry washed sand, fine. Let the sun dry it out well and good first.
- Acrylic Paint, various primary colours
- Sand paper, 80-120 grit
- Cheapest super glue you can find
- Acetone for clean up of resin
- Spray Paint is optional to use with seived sand as a surfacing option
Note: Only print with PETG resin. All other resins do not work well with Polyester resin.
PPE
- Eye Protection – essential when using a belt sander on holds
- Face mask suitable for resin vapour. Do not skimp on this!! Search Google for the best mask to use with resin
- Disposable Gloves
Sundries
- Catalyst Measuring Bottle
- Trays filled with sand to do the casting. Can be plastic or made from wood.
- Fine metal seive (optional)
- Large paper cups
- Stiring tool. A metal rod works well, can be easily cleaned.
- Cheap paint brushes 25mm
Warning: Do not wear loose clothing while using a belt sander or drill and always wear eye protection. Always ensure you wear an appropriate face mask and gloves when handling resin.
Note: Use Acetone for clean up of resin off brushes and workspace.
